Quick Tip! When to “close” your racket

Did you know that you are supposed to “close” your racket face during your take-back, and not when you are impacting the ball? Watch Wawrinka’s racket face during his take-back and contact point.

What part of the ball you impact will depend on the pace, spin, direction, and height of the ball you are hitting and also what type of shot you are trying to hit back.
